Challenge

Where the account stood

Implant and denture searches span treatment research, competitor names, and people outside a clinic’s service area. The team needed to understand acquisition costs in two distinct local markets and keep advertising enquiries separate from booked consultations and treatment outcomes.

Approach

What DBM did

DBM combined Search and Performance Max with market-level reporting. The initial 33-day scorecard established a baseline; subsequent optimisation focused on treatment intent, tighter local coverage, search-term exclusions, and visibility into CRM follow-up.

1

Ran Google Search and Performance Max across two local markets, reporting each market’s leads, spend, and blended acquisition cost separately.

2

Reviewed treatment-specific intent, including full-mouth implants, single-tooth needs, and local ‘near me’ searches rather than treating every dental search as equally relevant.

3

In subsequent optimisation, reviewed clinic-radius and ZIP-code coverage against the clinics’ service areas and excluded irrelevant neighbouring areas to tighten geographic relevance.

4

Added more than 620 competitor practice and doctor names as negative keywords during May 13–18, 2026, and disabled Search partners on April 23 to improve traffic control.

5

Introduced CRM lead-quality scoring in May and worked on click-ID routing and follow-up visibility. These later improvements are not presented as the cause of the earlier March–April results.
